Born in South Korea, baritone Changdai Park graduated from the Busan High School of Arts and won a scholarship to study at the Seoul National University. He has studied with Attila Jun, Caren Van Oijen, and Peter Tomek (Bavarian State Opera), and has participated in masterclasses with Kwangchul Youn, Anne Sofie von Otter, John Norris, and Deborah Polaski.

A winner of numerous international competitions, Changdai was awarded prizes at the Belvedere International Competition 2021 (Erfurt, Germany), Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg Competition 2022 (Nürnberg, Germany), and the Veronica Dunne International Singing Competition (Dublin, Ireland). He is also the recipient of the Ministry of Culture Award in South Korea.

His voice has evolved naturally toward the dramatic and Verdian repertoire, where his power, focus, and expressive intensity have found their fullest resonance.

He completed his studies at the Komische Oper Berlin Opernstudio in 2022 and has since appeared in concert and on stage throughout Germany and abroad. His engagements include performances with the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra in Parsifal at the Grieg Hall (Norway); La Damnation de Faust at Theater Erfurt; Samson et Dalila at Theater Kiel; Die Nacht vor Weihnachten and Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk at Oper Frankfurt; Macbeth at Theater Biel (Switzerland); and Rigoletto at the Israeli Opera in Tel Aviv.
